Mission statement:
The Augustus Ford Foundation is established to honor the memory and services of Dr. Augustus Ford by providing support for Bradley and Hamilton County students, and families of students, who express an earnest desire to further themselves and their Community through continued education.

We are family and friends remembering Dr. Augustus Ford through the non-profit Augustus Ford Foundation. Some of his primary interest included education and running. As a member of the Chattanooga, Knoxville and Atlanta Track Clubs, he won many awards in the senior divisions. In his honor, many trophies are awarded in the Trophy Classic. All proceeds benefit student grants in Bradley and Hamilton counties as well as "Stock Their Lockers" through the Samaritan Center, a local social services agency.
